The Kolektif Moka’mwad is above all a philosophy, “a positive economy combining reflection with action; it’s about empowering people, merging individuality into community.”
Moka’mwad is about:
- Collaboration, “inspiring people to unite for the advancement of their city,”
- Participation, “getting people to build together,”
- Rallying people, “every voice counts,”
- Sharing, “enjoying intense and authentic experiences like playing a game of football, eating a ‘roti’ or going mountain climbing,” and
- Encounters, “a hometown with a diversity of faces and characters.”
This Kolektif is open to all and will enable Mokassiens to engage in discussions about such topics as environmental and ecological issues, education, culture and heritage.
Moka’mwad aspires to be a privileged partner in the ‘citysmarting’ process. This initiative will allow the citizens of Moka to play an active role in the reshaping of their region. Moka’mwad is dedicated to harnessing your imagination and creativity because the smartness of the city comes primarily from its citizens.
