Christmas comes singing at Moka’s door!

Can you feel it too? There is something lighter in the air, which is filled with cheerful conversations: the holiday season is here! At Moka, there is a whole programme to create the right atmosphere to fully enjoy this special time of year.

Celebrate the Christmas magic with your family!

Moka has a jam-packed festive calendar with something for everyone. From an encounter with Santa Claus while shopping for gifts to family outings for a timeless experience and cultural discovery, here are 8 essential festive events in December!

1. Fun Saturdays for kids at Kendra

Kids will be delighted by the abundance of fun and amusement. They will make new friends in a festive atmosphere with lots of playful activities, balloons and sweets – enough for parents to get inspired and find great gifts. And why not make the most of this perfect distraction to tick off their list to Santa?

• Friday 23 and Saturday 24 from noon to 5pm

2. Grinch hunting in Bagatelle

Calling all courageous little boys and girls to drive away the Grinch, and restore Christmas joy! 

60 spots are open to children aged 5 to 12.

3. Christmas magic at Les Allées

There is no such thing as a Christmas market to soak up the warmth and generous spirit of the festive season. You will find craft treasures, gourmet treats and other unique gift ideas for family, colleagues and friends, and share some authentic delights.

• Friday 16 and Saturday 17 from 9.30am to 6pm
• Sunday 18 from 9.30am to 1pm

And while you are at it, your children too will have a great time! They will meet with Santa, an elf and a fairy, who will note down their gift wishes for this year.

• Friday 16 from noon to 3pm
• Saturday 17 from noon to 4pm
• Sunday 18 from 11am to 1pm

4. Christmas Carols at Les Allées

Whether you are looking for the last few gifts or catching up with friends, carol singers will keep you entertained with the greatest Christmas songs at Les Allées in Helvétia. You can’t miss these absolute classics that you won’t be able to get out of your head until 25 December.

• Friday 16 from 12.30pm to 2.30pm
• Saturday 17 from 1.30pm to 3.30pm

5. Free screening of Encanto

This Disney film awaits viewers of all ages for the next open-air cinema event at the Telfair Amphitheatre. You are welcome for this free screening in Moka whether you are watching the film for the first time or not, so get your popcorn and candy cane ready!

• Friday 16 December from 7pm to 9pm

6. Christmas show and songs at Kendra

Christmas is nearing and you can feel the vibe at Kendra – there is an exciting programme in store for you. Children will be able to meet Santa to give him their Christmas list!

• Wednesday 21 and Thursday 22 from 2pm to 7pm
• Friday 23 from noon to 8pm
• Saturday 24 from 11am to 9pm

And of course, there is nothing like singing to keep you entertained while you are waiting for Santa to come around!

7. Christmas Parade and Christmas carols in Bagatelle

8. The “Mokassiens” exhibition

Moka, City of Culture invites you to discover the faces of the region! This unprecedented outdoor photographic exhibition is inspired by the region’s art. The Telfair Amphitheatre will welcome you with your family and friends for a wonderful moment of discovery.
