On Saturday 23rd of November, Moka transformed into a true playground for the third edition of the Moka Decathlon Night Run. With 2,000 participants and a lively crowd of supporters, this year’s race reinvented itself with plenty of surprises!

The start of this edition was unforgettable, with an electrifying atmosphere. Screens along Telfair La Promenade displayed a countdown, signalling the beginning of an unforgettable evening. Illuminations at the race village extended along La Promenade, featuring glowing arches near Helvétia. The course was packed with entertainment to keep runners motivated, including highlights such as the Decathlon store transformed into a neon nightclub, fire breathers and séga musicians near Bassin Canards, and disco balls lighting up the climb at “Bagatelle Les Showrooms.”

It was impossible to miss Telfair’s chimney, which was transformed into a beacon for the occasion. Illuminated, it served as a landmark signalling the end of the course, with light beams projected into the sky. This installation, created by our sponsor Pro’Motion, guided and motivated runners to the finish line.

At the race village, a kids’ corner kept the little ones entertained, while runners and supporters captured memories at the photo booth. The evening ended on a high note with a DJ turning Telfair La Promenade into an open-air nightclub.

One thing is certain: runners discovered Moka like never before! Beyond bringing the town to life, this event redefined the sporting experience at the heart of the island.

Congratulations to the winners!
