African
athletics!
The Côte d’Or National Sports Complex hosted the 22nd edition of
the African Athletics Championships from
8 to 12 June 2022.
In the idyllic setting of Moka, 850 participants from all over Africa used the latest international- standard sports facilities of the stadium to surpass their limits in 45 different athletics events. A great opportunity to put
the Moka region in
the spotlight!
TRAIL MARKING FOR EASIER AND SAFER OUTINGS
X Moka has been working on the permanent marking
of mountain trails since 2019 to make your sports
outings and Sunday walks easier and safer. While
some trails were already well-known, the Smart
City has (re)traced them, marked them out
and categorised them according to a colour
code showing the level of difficulty. A total of
7 trails have already been provided with
markers for walkers, who can enjoy
the scenery without
having to worry about the direction to take.
So put on your shoes and set off to discover these trails!

X TheMokaSmartCityteam is actively working towards creating a new multisport centre in Helvétia.
Construction is expected to begin in 2023. P
