Moka Smart City proudly welcomes the U.S. Embassy
The U.S. government now officially owns 47,600 m2 of commercial land in the precinct of Bagatelle in Moka Smart City. Within the next four years, the land will be used to build the new U.S. Embassy with more than USD 250 million (around Rs 10 billion) spend. Such investment reflects the long-term commitment of the U.S. to the people of Mauritius and will support the country’s economic growth while creating new job opportunities in the region.
Bagatelle Mall reshaped
X Bagatelle Mall wants to increase its appeal by adding a 4,300 m2 wing. The mall aspires to position itself as a leading destination in the Moka region while providing customers with a unique shopping experience. This project will bring about the opening of several new shops and parking spaces. Completion is scheduled for early 2021.
In the meantime, lovers of flame-grilled meat will be delighted with the opening of a Burger King outlet in December 2020. P
