In April, May and June 2022, Moka hosted the traveling library, a partnership between Moka'mwad and the Institut Français de Maurice. The event moved through the neighbourhoods of the city - from Helvétia to St Pierre and Bagatelle
- in order to spread the love of learning. Whether it was a comic book, a novel or a magazine: there was something for everyone!
120 road signs installed
X The Bagatelle, Helvétia, Vivéa and Courchamps neighbourhoods have been equipped with 120 new traffic signs to guide motorists and pedestrians on the city’s main streets. This project has been carried out in collaboration with GDS, a European expert in the design of signage tools and innovative road equipment since 30 years.
Urban signage is an integral part of an
area’s identity. It is essential for an efficient position location system – whether for users, or for services such as emergency services, firefighters, and law enforcement agencies
in public spaces. Such infrastructure thus contributes to improving the quality of life
of residents. P
