L’Avenir: phase 2 underway!
The work on the second residential phase of L'Avenir neighbourhood
was launched in October 2022.
The 73 residential plots will be delivered by December 2023.
Meanwhile, the first phase of the project is nearing completion with:
X Residential land plots
by December 2022,
with a total of 127 plots; and
X Commercial land by February 2023, with a total of 36 plots.
L’Avenir will ultimately include
200 residential plots ranging from 9-to-13 perches, apartment and duplex developments and 62 commercial plots.
L’Avenir will offer a high quality of life with a retail and business zone,
a residential area and generous green spaces. The precinct, located along
La Promenade, is accessible and visible directly from the M3 motorway.
In short, this new mixed-use precinct is aligned with the vision of Moka Smart City.
A Security Hub for Moka!
Who doesn’t dream of enjoying a pleasant and safe living environment? Since September 2022, a Security Hub has been operating to harness the safety of Moka Smart City's residents and visitors. This new facility operates from Vivéa Business Park with security management focusing on four areas:
X CCTV cameras including 500 next-generation cameras installed in key locations.
X Security system with AVACOR security agents available for interventions.
X Vehicle patrols with 2 vehicles and 24/7 surveillance.
X An emergency number, to allow everyone to report incidents.
According to Régis Maubernard, Managing Director of
Moka Smart City Management Ltd, the right approach is to combine human presence and technology. “It will allow us
to quickly detect acts of vandalism and provide immediate response in the various neighbourhoods of the city, including Bagatelle, Telfair, Courchamps, Helvétia, Concordia and l’Avenir,” he says.
