Each year, the foundation reaches more than 9,400 people through its targeted actions to create a tangible change in the community. Here are two associations, supported by ENL Foundation, that
are working towards better social inclusion and actively fighting
against prejudices.

OpenMind in Verdun : bringing back smiles and positivity

Since then, the OpenMind Center
has been offering a comprehensive mental health service to children suffering from psycho-social and emotional deficiencies, behavioral disorders, as well as to victims of trauma due to family problems and abuse. Like a green screen to combat dark thoughts, this fertile ground
has since cultivated newfound laughter and saved young lives with compassion and generosity.
Conceived and developed as a therapeutic village, the OpenMind Center is a safe space for children and adolescents, with a real care structure, including group care with mediation workshops such as art- therapy and horti-therapy.
Supported by a multidisciplinary team composed of psychologists,
a psychomotor therapist, speech therapists and an art therapist, and faced with the growing demand
for psychosocial support among Mauritian children, who are often neglected in their suffering,
the association offers a holistic approach to mental health. P
