a hub for NGO's!
Since September 2021, six new associations, Not A Number, We-Recycle, FoodWise, Kolektif Enn Lavi Dirab, Indoor Jungle and Lovebridge have settled in at Les Kocottes. They have diverse backgrounds and have come together as agents for social, cultural and ecological change.

and recidivism, and promotes the reintegration of former prisoners. Since 2021, they have seen a number of new neighbours moving in. “We are still in the early stages of this experience but the neighbourhood is fast-developing and we are happy to be part of this growing community of NGOs. Our proximity and interaction at events create a favorable environment for collaboration,” says the Operations Manager, Michael Mumm. Such proximity gives rise to great opportunities, such as Indoor Jungle, which manufactures cement pots and creates green murals, including one at La Kocotte Moka’mwad.
WE-Recycle promotes recycling and collects plastic and aluminium waste. It also works in close collaboration with neighbouring associations. “This year, we are delighted to have worked
with Made In Moris in organising a competition on recycling in public schools. We look forward to working
withotherassociationssuchasTIPA, to raise awareness of this important cause. Moreover, these are the kind of rewarding encounters that make sense to us at Les Kocottes,” says the association’s President, Antoine King.
The inspiring environment allows the associations hosted by Les Kocottes to grow. FoodWise fights food waste and has reached a significant milestone by making a national impact through the advocacy of the Managing Director, Rebecca Espitalier-Noël. This has resulted in a
new law that allows products to be sold after the use-by date. Kolektif Enn Lavi Dirab promotes sustainable development through communication and Lovebridge continues to bridge the socioeconomic gap by playing an active role in tackling extreme poverty.
Les Kocottes brings together a diverse variety of talent exhibiting a promising synergy that inspires harmonious development through beautiful encounters. P
