“The Telfair amphitheatre is more than just a public space — it’s a true meeting place for Mokassiens. Every afternoon, we host free fitness classes open to all, bringing together residents of all ages and neighbourhoods. It’s also where we hold our larger public events — concerts, open-air cinema screenings, festivals… Each time, you can feel the collective energy, the joy of being together, right in the heart of the city.”
⚠️ The amphitheatre is a place to breathe, connect, play, and unwind — together.
These spaces warmly welcome sports activities, quiet breaks, children’s play, or solo moments. But to ensure everyone feels at ease, a few simple rules apply: let’s protect the tranquillity of the space, the safety of all, and the beauty of the surroundings.

Percy
My name is Percy Driver, ultra-runner and father of two beautiful girls. I make sure my passion for running doesn’t interfere with family life by training early in the morning. No matter what, I aim to be back before my kids leave for school so I can kiss them goodbye.
My go-to training area is Moka: the marked trails let me adjust my route depending on my program—whether it’s 7 km or 30 km. The paths are well maintained and diverse, crossing different microclimates—from Moka’s cool mornings to the windy heights of Le Pouce and the legendary steps of Malenga.
If time is tight or my training calls for it, I head straight to Le Pouce. Moka city has set up a secure parking lot there, the perfect starting point for elevation repeats, loops, or long runs. The signs are clear, and mobile coverage is reliable in case of emergencies.
I’ve been using these trails for years… and I’ve always made it home in time to kiss my girls.
