“Étoiles en Herbe addresses the urgent need for developing and professionalising Mauritius’ arts sector. This project is designed to professionalise and structure the performing arts industry. The training empowers young talent to refine their skills, gain music industry knowledge and develop as performers. Étoiles en Herbe offers guidance that was unfortunately lacking until 2023 with a training programme tailored to the local context, covering various aspects of the live music and performance industry. 

What to expect

Six workshops will cover key aspects of a successful performance. Stage management, performance technique and music production professionals will share their experience and knowledge. The aim is to provide valuable advice and pass on that little extra something that shapes each artist and performer.
