L’Ardoise is a nice bistro that has already made a name for itself and is described by the owner, Mouez Rayabi as a friendly, good-value-for-money place to share a meal.
A flexible and tempting menu
L’Ardoise is – almost – always open for guests. The golden rule being flexibility, the restaurant serves lunch, tea, dinner, and also breakfast soon. The wood-fired pizzas and lasagne are a must-eat for those who have a preference for Italian cuisine. The team can also prepare an indulgent meal on the go for vegans. For a business lunch, place your order in the morning and the meal will be ready on time.
The art of aperitif at L’Ardoise
You can get a good wine without spending a fortune at L’Ardoise. “Our wine list only includes medium range and top-end French wines at always affordable prices,” says Mouez. Gin is also a house speciality, and the gin and tonic is prepared with Fever Tree tonic.
The cocktails are an invitation to travel. They always have an original, well-balanced taste, and you can enjoy your drink with strawberries and Sichuan pepper or balsamic vinegar. If there’s nothing like beer to quench your thirst, you can grab one and find yourself a spot on the terrace to enjoy some people-watching.
Eco-friendly initiatives that make a difference
In addition to serving hearty meals in a warm atmosphere, L’Ardoise aims to be as environmentally friendly as possible. The napkins are washed at home by Mouez and Delphine (to avoid chemicals used in traditional dry cleaning), priority is given to local products and the restaurant cleaning is done in an environmentally sound manner, using household white vinegar and orange peel, among others.
The restaurant has a take-out menu since end November, using nice certified carton packs. Get ready to order!
