The Moka Street Food Festival, a delight for the senses

A first of its kind, this family event is set to bring the heart of Moka Smart City to life. The entrance is free with more than 20 food stands surrounded by a fun and festive atmosphere. It will be an opportunity for your family and friends to explore new flavours and dishes prepared with passion. 

This Moka Smart City initiative aims to bring together citizens, liven up the city and offer new activities in the area. It is a unique experience that invites the people of Moka and Mauritius to discover another side of the city. We are always eager to discover new cuisines and street food is a very popular option on an island that offers a diversity of culinary experiences. This is why the event was initiated, and to set up the festival, Moka chose to collaborate with Food Frenzy – specialist and enthusiast for this type of events.

Food Frenzy comes into play, impatient to create this unique experience in the heart of the island. “Moka is the perfect place to share our passion for food-based events. We are constantly looking for like-minded partners to promote cultural initiatives and the expression of talent. We are creators of culinary experiences that share common values like passion and sharing with Moka Smart City,” says the Managing Director, Marc-André Hein.

This event is leveraging the global street food trend and reinventing food cart and food truck classics to make them even tastier or turn them into affordable, decadent culinary delights.
